Our Patriotic Call
This is a patriotic call to all citizens of Ghana to heed the call of the ‘Movement for Ghana First ‘ to completely reject the NPP/NDC political parties and vote for independent candidates. This is because the party system has woefully failed our democratic experiment. Since 1992, the duopoly have governed this country (Ghana) alternatively. Unfortunately, the democratic system is so much influenced by a few rich elites in the 2 parties who have tainted the election processes with money and corruption. To combat this anti social and evil activity, the ‘Movement for Ghana First’ an NGO with a focus on advocating for Ghanaians to reject NPP/NDC candidates at elections; and vote for independent candidates. To minimize or eradicate the recurrence of political party candidates taking up government positions only to amass wealth through organized corruption in other to buy their way easily to victory at the next election. MGF is thus created to patriotically combat this partisan political menace by appealing to Ghanaian voters to massively vote for independent candidates.

In the face of political monopolization, that has dominated Ghana politics for 31 years, the Movement for Ghana First, emerges as a beacon of hope and unity destined for breaking this jinx. Fed up with the patronizing approach of the ruling duopoly, our like-minded NGO strives for a Ghana where corruption is eschewed, fundamental rights are protected, and true leadership prevails. Our goal is to promote good governance, service to the people, and accountability while mentoring the youth to uphold integrity over corruption.

Say yes to Independent Candidates
Only one candidate is an independent candidate in Ghana’s parliament sadly without independence. Over half of Ghana’s population is under 30 and yet this age group is not represented in the current parliament.
